pertaining specifically to screen-printing is as follows:

ARTWORK
If you provide quality “ready to produce” art, there is no extra charge for custom artwork. If our art department must rework art submitted to make it suitable for reproduction there will be an art charge of $36.00 (G) per logo or $18.00 (G) for typesetting. If what you submitted is very complex and needs reproducing the art charge may differ. You will be notified in advance.

WASHUP CHARGE
Orders requiring a change of ink color(s) within the production run will be charged $15.00 (G) for each screen that requires the wash up.

INK MATCHING
A charge of $24.00 (G) per mix color will be added to any order requiring a special ink mix. A certain match cannot be guaranteed due to certain colors and materials. Subsequent reorders of the same ink color may also vary slightly.

PROOFS
Virtual proofs are $10.00 (G) per item and color. Production ready art required. For a proof on the product ordered the cost is $30.00 (G) per item and color plus the cost of the garment. One virtual proof is provided at no charge on the first order for a new customer. See production samples below.

UNDERPRINTING
Some ink colors requested on certain color garments require an under printer for best results… light colors on dark items, neon’s and fluorescent inks are a few examples. 1st color pricing includes underprinting if needed.

FOLDING & BAGGING
$0.48 (G) per garment.

STANDARD PRODUCTION TIME
10-12 working days. Production times are longer during August (back to school) and before the holidays. Please contact your sales manager for rush availability. Event dated orders must be pre-approved.

SHIRT SIZES
Sizes vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. If in doubt, request a sample. See catalog pages for available sizes. Samples are provided with limited charges if returned for the order.

 


ART & DESIGN CHARGES/ARTWORK PREPARATION

Artwork may be provided in the following manner:
• E-mail artwork files to [email protected]
Make sure to reference the PO number with the file you are
sending.
AI or EPS Files (CS2020)
• The best artwork for screen printing is done in vector format,
which is created using Adobe Illustrator. We currently use CS2020,
please save for this version whenever possible.
CONVERT ALL TEXT TO OUTLINES!
PSD (Photoshop)
• Photoshop files are accepted, please do not merge layers –
and send the font files that you used in the design.
ARTWORK SHOULD BE AT LEAST 300 dpi
PDF (Acrobat)
• PDF files are also accepted. Art charge may still apply if file contains
no vector information and image is not printable resolution
JPG or JPEG
• Art charge may still apply if color separations are necessary, or if image
is lower than 300 dpi
Artwork from the internet is 72dpi, which is not a printable resolution.
• Non-camera-ready art, such as faxes, photocopies, labels,
napkins, business cards, letterhead or a previously printed
garment sample can be processed, but will require an art charge.
• The general rule for art charges is $12.50 (G) per color per
location. If your artwork is more complex and requires more
time, we will advise you of updated pricing.
Process printing subject to acceptance of art and special pricing.

LESS THAN MINIMUM
Orders not meeting the 12 piece minimum requirement will be subject to a charge of $25.00(G). The absolute minimum is 6 pieces.

CPSIA LABELING ON YOUTH SHIRTS
To print information on shirt other than with the logo add $0.50 (G) per garment.

Combined Quantity Pricing
Items which receive identical imprint may be combined for quantity pricing. Exception: jackets or caps may not be combined with any other items for a quantity price break.

Production Samples
Pre-production proofs may be ordered on any order that meets our normal requirements. These proofs will be charged the cost of all materials and labor required to produce them, including art, screens, digitizing, run charge, and the cost of the items. Subsequent production of the remainder of the order following approval of the proof will be subject to normal reset charges if the sample is approved as made.

Customer Supplied Merchandise
The company will assume no responsibility for customer supplied merchandise. Limits of liability in the event of customer dissatisfaction will be up to the amount of the decorating charge. There is a spoilage allowance of 1 piece or 2% of the order quantity, whichever is greater for provided garments.

Credit Cards
The company retains the right to charge a convenience fee on any credit card transactions. Payment by company check is preferred. Credit terms will be reviewed for each customer.

POLICY REGARDING ORDER QUANTITY CHARGES

The customer is responsible for the quantity ordered. The apparel will be ordered upon receipt of the order.

Increases in quantity to the order will be added without additional set-up or screen charges if the addition occurs before the copy is approved. After the copy is approved there may be additional set-up or screen charges.

Decreases in quantity or changes to the sizes or color of the apparel will incur a minimum restocking fee of $50.00 (G) or the actual amount charged by the vendor plus 10% and the freight to return the goods.

PRICES
Prices are subject to change without notice.

SHIPPING
All orders are shipped via ground service unless otherwise requested. Please provide a complete shipping address including: company name, street address, city, state and zip code on all orders.

DROP SHIPMENTS
Individual drop shipments can be made at no additional charge as long as each drop shipment meets the normal minimum requirements of a separate order. Each drop shipment that does not meet the minimum requirements will be charged $7.50(G).

SPLIT SHIPMENTS
Shipments may be split and shipped at a later date as long as each split shipment meets the normal minimum requirements of a separate order. Each split shipment that does not meet the minimum requirements will be charged $7.50(G). There is a six month maximum between the requested first and last ship dates. Each shipment will be priced according to the prices in effect at the time of shipment. Split shipments cancelled before production begins will be subject to the normal cancellation policy and charges. Cancellations or changes of the subsequent shipments after production of the first shipment will not be accepted.

ORDER CANCELLATION
In the event of an order cancellation, manufacturer shall be entitled to full reimbursement for any costs incurred to that point, including art, screen preparation, penalties and/or any restocking fees.

CLAIMS/RETURNS/REJECTS
Notification of all shortages, misprints or other problems must be made within 10 working days of arrival of merchandise at the requested “ship to” address. Rejected items become the property of the manufacturer.

BLANK SAMPLES
Blank samples of any of our items are available at first column pricing. Sizing and color may vary unless otherwise requested. We are unable to accept returned samples.

Manufacturer reserves the right to substitute materials of equal or better quality without notification unless advance notification is previously agreed to in writing.

PRODUCTION TIME
Generally, production time is 2 weeks upon receipt of order and goods. If an order requires digitizing, swatch, or preproduction proofs, additional time may be required. Please keep in mind, during peak seasons, production time may increase.
